Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a role located in Strasbourg, France. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they meet business needs within agreed parameters. They will manage highly complex IT projects in accordance with Project Management Office (PMO) standards, understand project goals, and define project scope, schedule, and budget.Responsibilities include:

• Defining and managing project scope, schedule, budget, and plan.
• Defining and maintaining communications plans.
• Identifying and managing project risks and issues.
• Reporting project status to stakeholders.
• Assuring project management process effectiveness.
• Supporting and coaching project teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent).
• Minimum 9 years of IT professional experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with a project management methodology (e.g. Prince2).
• Experience as a Project Manager, Programme Manager or Project Management Officer (PMO) within a structured project environment.
• IT project management and development lifecycle integration and implementation.
• Service management/Delivery Experience and Understanding.
• Experience of industry-standard IT Governance practices.
• Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• IT Performance management / Metrics expertise.
• Knowledge of Organisational Change and process improvement methodologies .
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum e.g. Scrum Master.
• Experience in process assessment using methodologies as CMMi, Cobit, P2MM, Project/Programme management and implementation of project tools.
