Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for a role based in Strasbourg, France, working with eu-LISA. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in grasping technical requirements and designing architectural solutions. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to design suitable solutions within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework.He/she will participate in design sessions, build business processes to support web service orchestration, and work with the SOA development team to implement SOA components. The Senior Solution Architect will also participate in team reviews, make necessary changes, and recommend alternative solutions as needed.This person should design, code, unit test, and support application systems, ensuring effective delivery through new development, enhancement of existing systems, or 3rd party products. They should adhere to software development methodologies and standards and work with both internal and external technical teams to ensure effective system delivery. Following established processes for configuration and release management is also crucial.Role involves:

• Designing architectural solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Participating in design sessions and team reviews.
• Building business processes to support web service orchestration.
• Ensuring effective delivery of systems through development, enhancement, or 3rd party products.
• Following configuration and release management processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 9 years of IT professional experience, with 5 years in SOA Platform Architecture and Development, including 2 years with Oracle database.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after secondary school.
• Open Group TOGAF certification advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of WebLogic suite 11g.
• Experience with Linux, UNIX, or AIX Enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and background in systems architecture.
