Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) - Training Developer at Spektrum

Spektrum is seeking a Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) Training Developer to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Oeiras, Portugal. The role involves working within an Agency-led project team to execute the Allied Command for Transformation (ACT) Programme of Work (PoW) 2025 for Ballistic Missile Defence. The candidate will provide expert support in developing and aligning BMD curriculum, reviewing NATO BMD standards, and collaborating with operational users.

The role involves:

• Reviewing NATO BMD standards and providing analysis for curriculum development.
• Collaborating with BMD operational users to gather information for the curriculum.
• Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and developing course materials.
• Supporting NCIA with expert opinions at BMD Curriculum venues.
• Aligning BMD courses with the BMD CONEMP.
• Providing BMD subject matter knowledge to the NCIA project team.

Requirements include:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in NATO BMD mission.
• Prior involvement in BMD Operational User Group (OUG) activities.
• Demonstrable experience in developing BMD curriculum for NATO.
• Experience with Individual Training Views (ITV), Training Needs Analysis.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Secret security clearance.
