Chief of Plans or equivalent in Affected Nation’s Navy (J5) at Spektrum

Spektrum is seeking a Chief of Plans, or equivalent, to support NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) exercises in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves providing subject matter expertise on naval strategy and operations to the training audience, representing the Affected Nation's (AN) naval posture realistically.

The Chief of Plans will act as the focal point for AN Naval matters, coordinating operational aspects within the AN and EXCON teams. They will also analyze training audience plans and provide recommendations for naval considerations within the scenario.

Role involves:

• Providing subject matter expertise on naval strategy.
• Offering expert advice and guidance on AN Naval asset use.
• Coordinating Naval operational matters.
• Developing a Concept of Operations for AN Naval assets.
• Generating exercise material.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as OF4 or higher in a national navy.
• 3+ years experience briefing senior leaders in a maritime environment.
• 3+ years employment as a Senior Officer in a maritime headquarters.
• Experience leading operational planning in a maritime headquarters.
• Sound operational knowledge of military and commercial maritime interaction.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Staff College.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Secret security clearance.
