Crypto Custodian

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Crypto Custodian to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Brunssum, Netherlands. The Crypto Custodian will work as part of an existing team, providing first-line support and assistance to Crypto Account, Sub Account, and Hand Receipt Holders. This role involves maintaining the physical security of the Crypto Vault, managing crypto equipment inventory, and supporting the distribution and monitoring of cryptographic materials. Responsibilities:

• Supporting Crypto activities and duties within the CSU Brunssum Crypto Distribution Agency and Crypto Cell Services.
• Providing first line support and assistance to Crypto Account, Sub Account and Hand Receipt Holders
• Operating under the guidance of the COMSEC Officer and fulfilling Tasks and Work Orders related to Crypto.
• Supporting couriers with the production of Courier Certificates.
• Providing Cyber Security Indoctrination related to handling, storing, and operating Crypto equipment.
• Performing routine and emergency destructions or dispositions of Crypto material.
• Maintaining physical security of the Crypto Vault and safeguarding Crypto Material.
• Activating, revoking, upgrading, and downgrading access rights on Base Access Control Systems.
• Managing inventory of Crypto Equipment.
• Monitoring of email security portal, Traka Key System, Formal Messaging System, and BRI Access Control System.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Crypto Custodian in a NATO or National HQ, along with experience in Cyber/IT Security.
• Proven experience in crypto administration and CARDS.
• Strong knowledge of Access Control systems BRI and TRAKA systems.
• Vocational training in NATO Physical Security, Information Assurance Security, or Cryptographic Security, or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years of post-related experience.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Top Secret personal security clearance.
