Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support NSPA's Cyber Security infrastructure, covering day-to-day and project activities. The engineer will provide Cyber Security services to NSPA customers and partners across NATO nations, based in Capellen, Luxembourg. This role involves a blend of operational maintenance and the implementation of new security solutions.

Role involves:
  • Planning and executing technology replacements, including developing schedules and configuring equipment.
  • Operating and maintaining various cyber security solutions such as firewalls, proxies, anti-virus, and SIEM systems.
  • Providing support for incident response, troubleshooting, and security procedure implementation.
  • Assessing new cyber security products, conducting trials, and making recommendations.
  • Designing and implementing secure solutions for projects.
  • Conducting effectiveness testing and improving existing cyber security controls.
  • Offering cyber security advisory and support for customer projects and penetration testing.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in IT Cyber Security.
  • Proven experience of at least 1 year in a NATO environment.
  • Experience with Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, E-mail gateways is plus.
  • Knowledge of Vulnerability Management, Anti-malware, endpoint protection technologies and PKIs is plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Windows, Linux, Active Directory security and Networking protocols
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral, CEFR B2 or higher).
  • Hold a valid NATO SECRET (or higher) security clearance
