Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a CYBERSPACE Subject Matter Expert to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises.

The expert will be part of the JWC Higher Control (HICON) team, developing strategic and operational level dilemmas within the exercise content and play, ensuring alignment with training objectives. They will generate exercise material, coordinate with other EXCON cells, and produce agendas and minutes. He/she will monitor training audience activity and output, providing timely feedback to JWC Exercise Control staff.

The position requires expertise in CYBERSPACE activities, offering advice and support to the training audience during exercise preparation and execution. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, refinement, and delivery of political-military, Strategic and Operational level information tailored to the TA and respective exercise.

Role Involves:

  • Developing strategic and operational level dilemmas within exercise content.
  • Generating exercise material and coordinating with EXCON cells.
  • Monitoring training audience activity and providing feedback to JWC Exercise Control staff.
  • Contributing to the development of strategic/operational level scenario documents.
  • Acting as a political-military focal point for CYBERSPACE matters.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a high-level Cyberspace environment.
  • Demonstrate 3 years’ experience in the last 6 in briefing senior leaders/decision makers at the governance level.
  • Ability to compose, edit, contribute to and comprehend collaborative texts in advanced English language.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
