Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support key client projects in Stavanger, Norway, specifically with the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC). The JWC focuses on enhancing NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises.

The Cyber SME will contribute to the Exercise Control (EXCON) structure, simulating, coordinating, and arranging opposing actors (OPFOR) during exercise execution. The ideal candidate will ensure realistic OPFOR force composition and mimic anticipated actions of an opposing force, coordinating OPFOR concepts of operations to challenge allied-partner nation actions.

Role involves:

  • Participating in OPFOR CYBER incident and storyline development.
  • Supporting MEL/MIL Scripting.
  • Advising assigned MEL/MIL workshop syndicate(s) on OPFOR CYBER implications.
  • Coordinating OPFOR CYBER injects across the exercise battle rhythm.
  • Contributing to the OPFOR Operational Design.
  • Assisting with the preparation of OPFOR FRAGOs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years previous military experience within the last 12 years in the operational CYBER domain.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of NATO’s CYBERSPACE operations.
  • Experience of NATO or National Operational Exercises.
  • Higher-level Civilian, Military or Staff College Education/Degree.
  • Business English.
  • Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
