Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Datacenter Engineer to support key client projects within the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) in Capellen, Luxembourg. The Datacenter Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day operation and maintenance (O&M) type of consultancy services for network, Unified Communication (UC) and datacenter (DC) and support for projects related to specific network, UC and DC related projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of datacenter operations, structured cabling, and asset management. He will work onsite according to NSPA flexible working hours. Occasional travel to other NATO sites may be required.
  • Providing day-to-day operation and maintenance (O&M) services for network, Unified Communication (UC) and datacenter (DC)
  • Supporting projects related to specific network, UC and DC related projects
  • Understanding of Big scale high availability Data Center operations, management, deployments and decommissions
  • Knowledge of Structured cabling (Fiber and copper)
  • Experience in Asset Management
  • Change management skills
  • Knowledge of Cooling/ Power/ UPS/ Generator
  • Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written), equivalent to CEFR B2 or higher
  • A university degree or equivalent professional experience
