Spektrum is seeking an EU Special Representative to support NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) exercises in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves realistically representing the EU environment to the training audience and ensuring a coherent European voice from NATO countries. Spektrum supports apex purchasers (NATO, UN, EU, and National Government and Defence) and their Tier 1 supplier ecosystem with a wide range of specialist services.
- Provide expertise in recent and scenario EU operations.
- Develop a basic Concept of Operations for EU involvement.
- Coordinate with political representatives to ensure coherent EU representation.
- Provide realistic EU documents.
- Act as the focal point for political matters relating to the EU.
- Analyse training audience plans and their impacts on EU matters.
- Monitor training audience activity and provide feedback.
- Ensure coherent information from European nations response cells.
Requirements: - Military OF - 6 or Civil equivalent and above
- 3 years’ experience in the last 10 of working in the European Council, EUMC or EUMS, at a senior level.
- 3 years’ knowledge and operational experience of NATO and/or EU military operations, either as a Military Officer or as a civilian.
- Higher-level civilian, military staff education/degree or relevant political experience.
- Business English proficiency.
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.

Note that the working policy involves shifts of 5 to 15 working days per event, with up to 12-hour days. Remote work may be requested on an ADHOC per requirement basis.
