Job Description
Spektrum is seeking an IKM Engineer to support critical client projects within the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). The NCIA is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and IT services to NATO member countries. This role is within the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC), focusing on Content Platform Services (CPS) which delivers content centric services. The IKM Engineer will contribute to the improvement and bug fixing of SharePoint customizations, including EDMS, PITT, NIP, and TT+, and RECCEN. They will work within Agile Scrum sprints, participating in planning, reviews, and retrospectives. This involves code refactoring, test case creation, and documentation updates to improve the quality, stability, and security of deployed capabilities.The ideal candidate has deep experience with Microsoft SharePoint versions 2013 through SE and strong troubleshooting skills. It’s important the candidate has knowledge of SQL servers and network technologies, ADFS domains, and SharePoint. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.Responsibilities:
  • Providing expertise on the creation of a backlog of user stories
  • Refactoring code of existing SharePoint customizations
  • Creating test cases against new introduced or improved features
  • Maintaining the IKM Tools and RECCEN instances
  • Troubleshooting issues of the IKM Tools and RECCEN instances as Level 2 support
  • Creating PowerShell scripts autonomously and on demand
  • Designing medium and large enterprise SharePoint environments
  • Creating technical and user guides and documentations
Requirements:
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2019, SharePoint SE deep experience
  • Excellent Troubleshooting skills in SharePoint applications and SQL
  • Azure DevOps experiences for Agile methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge in SQL servers and Network technologies
  • Basic knowledge on Virtual machines technologies
  • Knowledge in ADFS Domain and SharePoint wise
  • Business English proficiency
