International Organizations/Non-Governmental Organizations (IO/NGO) - Coordinator at Spektrum

Spektrum is seeking an International Organizations/Non-Governmental Organizations (IO/NGO) Coordinator to support key client projects, specifically the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. This role is crucial for ensuring realistic IO/NGO representation within these exercises.

The IO/NGO coordinator will provide subject matter expertise, coordinate with participating IO/NGOs, and act as the focal point for the training audience on humanitarian, human rights, and civil society matters.

Role Involves:

• Providing subject matter expertise on IO/NGOs.
• Coordinating and supporting IO/NGOs during exercises.
• Developing a basic Concept of Operations for humanitarian, civil society, and human rights issues.
• Acting as the focal point for the training audience on related matters.
• Coordinating these matters with appropriate representatives and providing realistic documentation.
• Providing recommendations for improvement in the representation of humanitarian, human rights, and civil society issues.
• Interacting as representatives for fictitious IO/NGOs.
• Analyzing training audience plans and documentation for impacts on IO/NGOs.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated and significant experience (5+ years in the past 20) at senior levels of an (humanitarian) international (non-) governmental organization.
• 3+ years’ experience in the last 10 working at senior managerial level within an IO/NGO.
• 3+ years' experience interacting with or working alongside NATO at the operational level.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
