Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Joint Targeting System (JTS) Database Manager to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. The successful candidate will support key client projects, contributing to the development and execution of targeting activities within the JWC's exercise programs.

The role involves managing the JTS database, coordinating targeting prosecution, and integrating effects through the FAST tool. The candidate will also be responsible for target list management, development of High Value Individual (HVI) targets, preparation of Electronic Target Folders (ETF), and management of target imagery and combat assessment.

Role involves:

  • Target List management within campaign synchronization.
  • Target development, HVI development, ETF preparation, target imagery management and combat assessment.
  • Managing the JTS DB in support of the Deliberate/Dynamic Targeting process.
  • Coordinating and integrating targeting prosecution/effects through the FAST tool.
  • Monitoring combat assessment process updates.
  • Target List updates according to CAX, OPFOR and Response Cells inputs.

Requirements:

  • National and/or NATO trained targeteer with 3 years of operational targeting experience.
  • Good working knowledge of JTS (Joint Targeting System), user functions to include data migration between JTS and INTEL-FS and JTLS.
  • Good working knowledge of JTS DB Manager functions including data import/export, user account configuration, use of mapping applications.
  • Proficiency in Target Material Production and integration of targeting products into JTS.
  • Good working knowledge of FAST basic user functions to include user account configuration and linking FAST with JTS.
  • Working knowledge of INTEL-FS (basic user) and associated exercise data.
  • Business English proficiency.
  • Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
