Spektrum is seeking a Liaison Officer to support NATO's Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. This role involves providing subject matter expertise in military liaison and scenario-specific understanding, representing the exercise scenario realistically to the training audience as a liaison officer.Role responsibilities:
- Acting as the focal point for the training audience HQ for interaction with the Affected Nation (AN) military.
- Coordinating responses to training audience requests and queries.
- Analyzing and understanding the AN military aspects of the situation.
- Developing a basic Concept of Operations for the AN military.
- Conducting TA HQ J5 planning tasks.
- Generating appropriate exercise material.
- Producing agendas, written speaking notes, and minutes of meetings.
Requirements include:
- 3 years’ experience in briefing senior leaders.
- 3 years’ experience in conducting military planning tasks.
- 3 years’ experience working in a National or NATO Strategic or Operational Command.
- Attained the rank of OF-4 in a national military.
- Evidence of training in military planning.
- Business English proficiency.
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
