Network Engineer

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Network Engineer to support key client projects for the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). The role involves day-to-day operation and maintenance (O&M) of network, Unified Communication (UC), and datacenter (DC) infrastructure, along with support for specific projects related to these areas.Spektrum supports apex purchasers (NATO, UN, EU, and National Government and Defence) and their Tier 1 supplier ecosystem with a wide range of specialist services. They provide their clients with professional services, specialised aerospace and defence sales, delivery, and operational subject matter expertise.

• Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of network, Unified Communication (UC) and Datacenter (DC) infrastructure
• Support for projects related to the network

• Understanding of LAN features: RSTP, 802.1Q
• Knowledge of IP features: PAT, DHCP, HSRP, OSPF
• Expertise in IOS security features and IOS firewall
• Experience with Cisco router and switch series
• Familiarity with network analysers, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Solarwinds Orion, Opsview, ZABIX
• Linux environment knowledge: Redhat, Debian
• Experience with ATMedia Ethernet encryptors and Ucopia captive portal infrastructure
• Good communication skills
• Minimum 2 years' experience in networking or telecoms
• NATO experience (desirable)
• Proficiency in English
