Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Network Technician to support key client projects in Sarajevo, Bosnia, within the NATO Communications & Information Agency (NCI Agency). The Network Technician will be responsible for service support activities, ranging from level 1 to level 3, according to their defined competence area.Responsibilities include:
- Providing service support activities at levels 1, 2, and 3.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent qualifications.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles and practices.
- Experience with fault diagnosis using management platforms such as HP Openview, Netscout, and Cisco Works.
- Proficiency in HP Network Automation or similar network automation systems.
- Experience in network monitoring and event management systems (e.g., CA Spectrum, HP Openview, and Splunk).
- Knowledge of IP Diffserv QoS in Networks.
- In-depth knowledge of OSPF and BGP, including multi-area architectures.
- Familiarity with EIGRP and IS-IS.
- Proficiency in LAN technologies (e.g., HSRP, STP, VLANs).
- Experience with network authentication and authorization systems (e.g., Secure ACS 5.x, RADIUS).
- PaloAlto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent.
- CompTIA Security+.
- In-depth knowledge of PaloAlto firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
- In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies and configurations.
- Scripting and automation skills
