Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Non-linear Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on enhancing NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. The SME will simulate and coordinate opposing actors during exercises, ensuring realistic OPFOR force composition and actions. The role involves incident development, scripting, and execution support, coordinating with various EXCON cells to maximize training value.
Role Involves:
- Supporting incident development with non-linear effects and threat networks.
- Scripting OPFOR non-linear content in JEMM and Link Analysis software.
- Providing expertise to OPFOR scripters and workshop syndicates.
- Coordinating with other OPFOR and EXCON cells during execution.
- Analyzing and dynamically scripting amendments to OPFOR Threat Networks
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of military or civilian experience in operational intelligence or special forces.
- 3 years of experience as OF3-OF4 (or civilian equivalent) in relevant positions.
- Competency in Link Analysis databases and software (e.g., I-Base, I2).
- Working knowledge of hybrid threats at the operational or strategic level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Relevant higher-level education or degree.
- Business English proficiency.
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
