Spektrum is seeking an Online Media Role-player to support media simulation missions at the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves creating news and social media content based on daily guidance from the Chief Media. The candidate will work as part of a team to improve Alliance's operational capabilities through training and exercises.Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing exercise and scenario documentation.
- Creating media content for various online and social media platforms.
- Advising syndicate members on media implications and opportunities.
- Scripting articles and social media content.
- Performing as a role-playing journalist in media engagements.
- Supporting media inject management and ensuring content accuracy.
- Professional journalism and/or academic writing experience within the past 8 years.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a communications field.
- Online portfolio with at least 5 examples of published content.
- Post-secondary education.
- Business English proficiency.
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
- Coverage of travel costs.
