Police Commissioner or equivalent at Spektrum

Spektrum is seeking a Police Commissioner, or someone with equivalent experience, to support NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) exercises in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC is focused on improving NATO's operational capabilities, and this role will provide subject matter expertise to realistically represent a nation's policing strategy to the training audience. Spektrum supports apex purchasers (NATO, UN, EU, and National Government and Defence) and their Tier 1 supplier ecosystem with a wide range of specialist services.

Role involves:

• Providing subject matter expertise on national policing strategies.
• Offering strategic advice on policing and counter-terrorism.
• Ensuring a realistic national police campaign is portrayed.
• Acting as the focal point for policing matters.
• Coordinating operational policing matters.
• Representing AN minister or Police Commissioner in meetings.

Requirements:

• 5 years of operational experience in police and internal security matters.
• 5 years of operational experience in gendarmerie matters at a national level.
• 3 years’ experience in briefing senior leaders/decision makers.
• Participation in NATO and/or international strategic planning exercises and operations.
• A University/Bachelor’s Degree, police academy or Staff College
• Business English
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
