Multilingual Global Client Associate at Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Multilingual Global Client Associate to join their team in Tallinn, Estonia. The ideal candidate will have a background in client services and a professional demeanor suitable for interacting with an experienced clientele. They will be responsible for resolving routine and complex client service issues via phone, email, and chat, while also identifying opportunities for technology-based improvements. This role involves coordinating with various internal and external departments to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to the development of client service systems.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve client service issues via phone, email, and chat.
• Address inquiries about IBKR Trader Workstation, Web Trader, and Mobile Trader.
• Handle cash deposits, withdrawals, position transfers, and account administration.
• Explain product availability, attributes, exchange, clearing, and depository functions.
• Assist with order types, routing logic, order status, and trade settlement.
• Provide information on margin calculations, commission structure, interest, and fees.
• Coordinate with other client service divisions and external departments.
• Contribute to the development of client service systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in client services or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• General understanding of financial instruments (stocks, options, futures, forex, fixed income).
• Fluent in English and one of the following: Russian, Spanish, Italian, or French.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• EU passport or qualifying work permit/residency for Estonia.
