Senior Official within Ministry of Public Works, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications or equivalent of the Affected Nation at Spektrum

Spektrum is seeking a Senior Official to support key client projects within the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. Spektrum supports apex purchasers (NATO, UN, EU, and National Government and Defence) and their Tier 1 supplier ecosystem with a wide range of specialist services.

The Senior Official will realistically represent a senior figure within the Affected Nation's (AN) Ministry of Public Works, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications (PWTIT) to the training audience.

Role involves:

• Providing subject matter expertise and strategic advice on matters concerning the AN's Ministry of PWTIT.
• Ensuring a realistic and coherent response by the AN Ministry of PWTIT.
• Acting as the focal point for the training audience for all AN PWTIT matters.
• Coordinating operational PWTIT matters within the AN and EXCON team.
• Developing a basic Concept of Operations.
• Assisting training audiences with initial planning stages.
• Generating appropriate exercise material.

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in the last 10 in the field of Infrastructure and Transport at Executive level.
• 3 years’ experience in the last 10 in briefing senior leaders/decision makers.
• 3 years’ experience in the last 10 in influencing policy making.
• A University/Bachelor’s Degree.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
