Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Service Desk Technician-Operator to support the NATO Communications & Information Agency (NCI Agency) in Sarajevo, Bosnia. This role involves providing Operations and Maintenance of systems, services, and facilities, ensuring the smooth functioning of communication and information services. The Service Desk Technician will be responsible for service support activities at levels 1 and 2, escalating to level 3 when necessary, within their defined competence area.Responsibilities include:
- Providing service support activities at level 1 and 2, escalating to level 3 when needed.
- Supporting workspace services and end-user devices such as laptops, workstations, and peripherals.
- Maintaining back-end infrastructure including UPS, routers, switches, and servers.
- Assisting with deployable CIS systems, including tactical satellite systems.
- Supporting security domains or networks.
Requirements include:
- 3 years of professional experience.
- ITIL V3 Foundation or ITIL V4 Foundation certification.
- Proficiency in using BMC Remedy/ NATO-NCIA ITSM tool set.
- In-depth knowledge of NATO and NCIA service desk processes and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of NCIA configuration and change management processes.
- National Secret or NATO Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in English (NATO SLP 3333).
