Social Media Scripter

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Social Media Scripter to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises.This role involves creating strategic social media content based on daily direction from the Chief Media and the Online Media Content Manager. The Social Media Scripter will play a crucial part in the media simulation effort during exercises.Role Involves:

• Reviewing exercise scenario documentation and media SOP.
• Creating and managing strategic social media accounts.
• Monitoring and updating the JEMM database.
• Coordinating and posting pre-scripted and dynamic social media content.
• Ensuring content accuracy and relevance by coordinating with other media staff and SMEs.
• Reviewing and editing social media content produced by other media staff.
• Performing as a role-playing journalist in TA press conferences.

Requirements:

• 3 years of professional experience in creating strategic social media content using Twitter and/or Facebook.
• Experience managing multiple accounts and creating effects-based content.
• 3 years of professional experience in a strategic communications field such as public affairs, marketing, information operations, or psychological operations.
• Post-secondary education.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
