Space Subject Matter Expert

Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Space Subject Matter Expert to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC is focused on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. This role involves short-term operational support for specific exercise events, functioning as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and role player within the Exercise Control Organization (EXCON). The role player will develop strategic and operational level dilemmas, generate exercise material and coordinate with EXCON cells. The role requires NATO SPACE knowledge.Responsibilities include:

• Developing strategic and operational dilemmas.
• Generating exercise material.
• Coordinating with EXCON cells.
• Producing agendas and minutes.
• Updating exercise documentation.
• Monitoring training audience activity.
• Providing feedback and recommendations.
• Assisting in lessons learned process.
• Acting as the training audience focal point for SPACE matters, throughout all phases of the exercise.

Requirements:

• 3 years of SPACE experience on political military or strategic level.
• Ability to compose and comprehend texts in English.
• Experience in briefing senior leaders.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
