Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a STRATCOM Advisor to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on improving NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. The advisor will provide subject matter expertise in Strategic Communications, realistically representing the Affected Nation’s STRATCOM policy.

The role involves:

  • Acting as the focal point for STRATCOM matters.
  • Coordinating STRATCOM operational matters within the AN and JWC Exercise Control team.
  • Developing a Concept of Operations for STRATCOM use.
  • Assisting training audiences with STRATCOM incorporation.
  • Producing AN STRATCOM messages.

Requirements for this role include:

  • 3 years’ experience in communications and public relations at a ministerial level.
  • Experience in military STRATCOM.
  • Experience in briefing senior leaders/decision makers.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in communications or 8 years equivalent experience.
  • Business English proficiency.
  • Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
