STRATCOM Subject Matter Expert

Spektrum is seeking a STRATCOM Subject Matter Expert to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on enhancing NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. The role involves developing strategic and operational level dilemmas, coordinating with EXCON cells, and providing expertise in STRATCOM activities.

The Subject Matter Expert will be part of the JWC HICON team, which acts as a response cell during exercises. They will contribute to the development of political-military, strategic, and operational level information tailored to the Training Audience (TA), focusing on STRATCOM.

Role Involves:

• Developing strategic and operational level dilemmas within the exercise content.
• Coordinating and de-conflicting injects with other EXCON cells.
• Producing agendas, speaking notes, and minutes of meetings.
• Updating exercise documentation.
• Monitoring training audience activity and output.
• Advising on lessons learned and contributing to the lessons learned process.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in communications and public relations, including STRATCOM experience at a ministerial or equivalent level.
• Experience in briefing senior leaders/decision makers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Higher education/degree relevant to communications or 6 years equivalent working experience.
• Business English language skills.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
