Subject Matter Expert Military Logistics or equivalent to the Affected Nation (J4) at Spektrum

Spektrum is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Military Logistics to support NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) exercises in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves providing expertise on the logistics infrastructure, services, and regulations of an Affected Nation (AN) to the training audience. The expert will act as a focal point for AN logistical matters, coordinate military logistics within the AN and EXCON team, and analyze scenario documentation. They will also develop a basic Concept of Logistic Operations, assist with strategic and operational level scenario documents, and provide subject matter expertise during initial logistical planning stages. Furthermore, the Subject Matter Expert will monitor training audience activity, provide feedback to JWC Exercise Control staff, and attend daily coordination meetings, offering SME advice as required.

• Provide subject matter expertise on the Affected Nation's Logistics Infrastructure.
• Act as the focal point for the training audience for AN Logistical matters.
• Coordinate Military logistical matters within the AN and EXCON team.
• Develop a basic Concept of Logistic Operations for the use of the AN's Military logistics services.
• Assist training audiences with initial logistical planning stages.

• Demonstrate 3 years’ experience in the last 10 performing at the rank of OF4 or higher within a national or international Military Logistics branch.
• Demonstrate 3 years’ experience in the last 10 of briefing senior leaders/decision makers within a national/international logistical environment.
• Demonstrate 3 years’ employment in the last 10 as a Senior Logistics officer in an operational or strategic national or international headquarters.
• Demonstrate experience of leading logistics planning activities in a national or international headquarters.
• Demonstrate sound operational knowledge of military and civil logistical interaction within the past 5 years.
• A University/Bachelor’s Degree or Staff College.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
