Job Description

Spektrum is seeking a Targeting Subject Matter Expert to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway. The JWC focuses on enhancing NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises. This role involves providing targeting expertise during exercise planning and execution.

The candidate will play a crucial role in generating targeting products, ensuring alignment with joint plans and schemes of manoeuvre. Key responsibilities include:

  • Quickly understanding targeting campaigns from scenario documentation
  • Assisting in developing strategic and operational level scenario documents
  • Producing targeting-related products (Basic Target Graphics, IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT reports)
  • Managing the targets access database for EXCON Targeting Cell
  • Assisting with BDA Ph2 reporting
  • Providing SME advice to the training audience
  • Updating JWC documentation with latest doctrine/TTPs
  • Monitoring training audience activity and providing feedback to JWC Exercise Control staff

Requirements for the role include:

  • National and/or NATO trained targeteer with 3 years of operational targeting experience
  • Good knowledge of operational and tactical-level staff processes and campaign synchronization
  • Good knowledge of JTS, FAST, JCHAT, NATO CDE methodology and targeting doctrine
  • Business English proficiency
  • Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
