Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a TV and Online Media Role-player to support NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) exercises in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves creating TV news reports, online news articles, and social media content based on daily direction and guidance. This position directly supports the media simulation mission, at the JWC or a deployed location, by creating strategic TV news reports, online news articles and social media content.
The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing NATO's operational capabilities through training and exercises.
Role Involves:
- Reviewing exercise and scenario documentation.
- Creating mainstream and OPFOR media content for TV, online, and social media outlets.
- Advising syndicate members on media implications and opportunities for information effects.
- Drafting TV reports, online news articles, and social media content.
- Performing as a TV broadcast journalist in media engagements.
- Reviewing and editing media content produced by other media staff.
- Coordinating/creating/posting strategic social media hashtags and troll activity.
Requirements:
- 5 years of professional on-camera broadcast journalism experience.
- 4 years of professional news producer or shooter/editor experience.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word or scriptwriting software.
- Provide a link to an online portfolio.
- Post-secondary education.
- Business English proficiency.
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
