Job Description

Spektrum is seeking an IT System Engineer to join their team in Capellen, Luxembourg. The IT System Engineer will be responsible for the infrastructure support and maintenance within the platform team, focusing on managing and supporting the entire IT infrastructure, including backups, virtual infrastructure, Microsoft failover clusters, security, Exchange infrastructure, Active Directory, and LAN components. The role requires the engineer to analyze and propose IT solutions to fulfill customer needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management and support of the entire IT infrastructure
  • Management of backups of files, exchange, SQL Database, virtual machines
  • Administration and management of the virtual IT infrastructure based on VMware Vsphere and HyperV
  • Management of Microsoft failover cluster
  • Management of Security and Anti-virus protection
  • Management of Exchange infrastructure and servers
  • Management of Active Directory, Group Policy, Domain Name Server (DNS), Remote Desktop Services (RDP)
  • Maintenance of the Local Area Network (LAN) components
  • Migration of existing Virtual Machines (VMs) and physical servers
  • Analysis and proposal of IT solutions to fulfil customer needs

Requirements include:

  • 7 years of IT experience and 5 years information systems (IS) experience
  • Knowledge of IS hardware and software
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Operating System, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, VDI, VMWARE vSphere, SAN, Backup software, Mcafee client protection and ePO central console
  • Professional experience with VMware Center Operations (VCOPS), Hyper-V, TCP / IP Routing, VLAN, Security update, Network Attached Storage (NAS) technology, Failover cluster, Microsoft Network Load Balancing, Microsoft Exchange Version 2019, Microsoft SQL Server 2016
  • National Secret or NATO Secret Clearance
  • Mandatory English – STANAG 6001 SLP 3333
  • French desirable

Spektrum offers:

  • Onsite work arrangement in Capellen, Luxembourg
  • 215 working days per year
  • 40 working hours per week, Monday to Friday
