Data Platform Engineer at OneTrust

OneTrust is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join its Enterprise data team. This role involves collaborating with data engineers, data architects, and business analysts to build data platform solutions.

The Role Involves:

• Performing administration, maintenance, and support for production systems.
• Building and automating AWS native technologies.
• Designing and implementing automation framework for scale.
• Driving technical conversations with stakeholders.
• Working effectively using scrum.
• Reducing technical debt.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of experience with large-scale data warehouse projects.
• Strong experience in SQL and dimensional modeling.
• 5+ years of programming experience with Python (or similar).
• Experience in implementing and maintaining CICD solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with Databricks/Snowflake, Apache open-source tools (Spark/Kafka/Airflow), ETL/Integration tools administration.
• Experience with automating AWS or AZURE cloud native technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Data Warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Redshift) and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka).
• Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Experience evaluating new tools and enriching existing architecture.
