Job Description
Vaco is seeking a Business Development Director to drive revenue and build strong client relationships. The Director will promote Vaco to area businesses for critical projects in audit, tax, finance, accounting, and more. They will work with a recruitment team to fulfill special projects and interim positions.Role involves:
- Growing and developing strong relationships with clients and senior accounting & financial leaders.
- Working with a recruitment team to fulfill projects and interim positions.
- Keeping a pulse on the market and hiring trends.
- Establishing and conducting client visits.
- Actively developing and maintaining a target account list.
- Managing open client opportunities from intake to fulfillment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. CPA, CFA, MBA or other professional designation highly desired.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years’ selling accounting/financial project solutions or comparable client relations experience.
- Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Bullhorn preferred.
- Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines.
