Business Development Manager

Job Description

Vaco is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue by promoting the company to businesses in the Fairfield, New Jersey area. The Business Development Manager will focus on critical projects related to audit, tax, finance, accounting, and more. • Growing and developing strong relationships with clients and senior accounting & financial leaders.
• Working with a recruitment team to fulfill special projects and interim positions.
• Keeping a regular pulse on the market and hiring trends.
• Establishing and conducting client visits.
• Actively developing and maintaining a target account list.
• Managing open client opportunities from intake to fulfillment.

Requirements for the role include:

• Bachelor’s Degree required. CPA, CFA, MBA or other professional designation highly desired.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ selling accounting/financial project solutions or comparable client relations experience in audit, tax, and/or public accounting.
• Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Experience with Bullhorn preferred.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results driven.
