Forter is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of 6 engineers focused on building products that enhance its core fraud prevention offering. This role is vital in shaping how businesses interact with Forter's fraud prevention capabilities. The team will develop products around the core offering, impacting the most widely used areas of the application and customer's daily operations.
As a leader within the Customer Experience Engineering group, the Engineering Manager will drive the development of solutions that enable customers to combat fraud efficiently, gain insights, and manage operational needs. The role involves close collaboration with product, UX, analytics, ML, and other engineering teams.
What this role involves:
- Leading and mentoring a team of 6 software engineers.
- Building analytical and operational flows.
- Collaborating with product managers and designers iteratively.
- Balancing priorities between new features, stability, and resilience.
- Leading technical vision and investment discussions.
Requirements:
- 4+ years leading a team of 4+ engineers.
- 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience with NodeJS, React, ElasticSearch/mySQL/Snowflake/Redis, AWS or other cloud vendors, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with product managers and product designers.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
