Job Description

Forter is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Disputes team. This role involves building intelligent and scalable systems to protect businesses from fraud and protect revenue. The engineer will collaborate with product and analytics teams to drive business direction and take ownership of the product experience, from data flow to actionable insights.

• Designing and working with large-scale distributed systems

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex backend systems using modern programming languages, preferably with Node.js and TypeScript experience.
• Experience overseeing a product’s entire lifecycle.
• Experience designing and working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS or other public clouds.
• Experience with various data stores and pipelines such as Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, and MySQL.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
