Forter is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable and resilient systems. The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in shaping Forter’s Chargeback Coverage & Resolution solution, which is a key product in the company's portfolio. The Dispute Group is dedicated to safeguarding companies, using innovative technology to combat chargeback abuse and protect their growth.

What this role involves:

  • Developing a fully automated dispute platform to prevent, deflect, and recover chargebacks to reduce revenue loss.
  • Building and maintaining a high-performing, scalable chargeback management system handling tens of thousands of requests daily.
  • Defining and optimizing the scale, reliability, observability, and SLOs of the chargeback management platform.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex backend systems using modern programming languages, preferably with Node.js and TypeScript experience.
  • Experience designing and working with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with AWS or other public clouds.
  • Significant experience with various data stores and pipelines such as Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, and MySQL.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
