Staff Engineer, Product Offering

Job Description

Forter is seeking a Staff Engineer to join its Disputes product leadership team in Tel Aviv. This role is crucial for enhancing consumer protection and safeguarding merchants from fraud. The Staff Engineer will provide technical leadership, guide key decisions, and collaborate with product and analytics teams. Forter is looking for someone who enjoys shaping technical visions and solving complex problems.Role involves:

• Working on complex offline and online architecture

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining complex backend systems using modern programming languages, preferably with Node.js and TypeScript
• 2+ years of experience as a tech lead/architect/team lead
• Passion and experience overseeing a product’s entire lifecycle
• Strong product orientation
• Experience designing and working with large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in software engineering practices
• Project management experience
• Strong communication skills including stakeholder management
• Experience with data stores and pipelines such as Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, and MySQL
• Experience with AWS or other public clouds
