Forter is seeking a Fraud Analyst to become an expert on online fraudsters' behavior. The analyst will review, debate, and research case studies to understand the fraudster's mindset and anticipate their next moves. They will cultivate new paths for fighting fraud and participate in building cutting-edge technology.

What this role involves:

  • Inventing, designing, and implementing attributes/features in and above our automated human and machine learning model, using SQL and Python.
  • Playing a central part in Forter’s business cycle.
  • Meeting customers and collaborating with marketing/business initiatives.
  • Finding solutions to problems supposedly unsolvable – by thinking like a hacker.
  • Collaborating with a team of analysts, data scientists, and engineers to develop the next generation of Forter’s technology.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A psychometric score above 700 (or equivalent on other speed-based tests, e.g. GMAT)
  • A fast mind, with strong attention to detail.
  • Openness to learning, lots of creativity, and a desire to solve tough problems.
  • Ability to work independently when given abstract tasks, but also the patience to listen to someone else’s opinion
