Forter is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their APAC team in Singapore. This hybrid role requires a candidate to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and articulate.
The Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. They will work closely with sales, channel, and marketing to source qualified opportunities for Account Executives.
What this role involves:
- Source highly-qualified opportunities for Account Executives.
- Research accounts to identify key players and uncover business problems.
- Deliver compelling messages to generate interest.
- Conduct initial discovery conversations with Finance, eCommerce, and Payments Executives.
- Understand customer needs and requirements and effectively articulate solutions.
- Provide insight into an organisation's structure and identify decision makers.
Requirements:
- 12+ months of previous business experience in a sales environment, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Previous experience with sales and prospecting tools a plus: Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid technical aptitude and genuine interest in tech and e-commerce solutions.
- Ability to navigate systems and tools and follow process.
- Highly-motivated and driven individual who thrives working toward monthly and quarterly quotas.
- A desire to grow and advance a client-facing career in sales.
