Job Description
Legend Biotech is seeking a Director, Pipeline Project Management to join their Research & Development team. This role is based in Somerset, NJ. The Director will oversee all project management activities for product development teams, focusing on cell therapies and related modalities within a dynamic pipeline. They will ensure timely project execution, driving product candidates through development and lifecycles.
The role involves:
- Coordinating meetings, agendas, and minutes.
- Developing detailed project plans and timelines.
- Monitoring project progress and proactively communicating issues.
- Creating integrated project resource plans.
- Evaluating the impact of changes and identifying necessary adjustments.
- Maintaining a risk register.
- Supporting the Project Leader in achieving governance endorsement.
- Providing input to the project management office for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- B.S., M.S., Ph.D., M.D, Pharm.D. or equivalent in a science, engineering, or medicine-related field
- 10+ years of industry experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
- Strong experience with project management and associated tools
- Ability to identify and resolve timeline dependencies and conflicts
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong ability to ensure flawless execution
- Agile
- Strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence
- Experience with development of cell therapies or viral vectors
- Experience in therapeutic areas such as hematological malignancies, autoimmune diseases, or solid tumors
- Positive attitude
- Excellent written, verbal, and collaboration skills
- Project Management Professional certification is a plus
- Passion for the patient
