Instawork is seeking a Lead Product Designer to lead UX projects from concept to execution and contribute to comprehensive design systems. The ideal candidate balances idealism and pragmatism, is excited about setting a big vision, and enthusiastically implements smaller improvements. The Lead Product Designer will take ownership of the end-to-end design process and give useful feedback, while remaining open to new ideas.

What the Role Involves:

  • Partnering with the product manager to define product strategy
  • Developing and delivering high-quality design solutions
  • Mentoring fellow UX designers
  • Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop reusable components
  • Conducting and overseeing user research activities

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a product designer
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design systems and user-centered design
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Mastery in design tools like Figma
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
