Mobile Engineer (LATAM, All Levels)

Job Description

Sezzle is seeking a Mobile Engineer to contribute to their React Native-based mobile app. The engineer will work within a full-stack engineering team, building and maintaining new product features, participating in design discussions, and ensuring code quality through reviews and testing.

Role Involves:

• Building and maintaining new product features in a React Native app
• Collaborating with product owners to improve features
• Participating in design and architecture discussions
• Contributing to code reviews
• Building clean, scalable, robust, and testable code
• Assisting in project planning and estimations

Requirements:

• Experience solving technical problems as part of a team
• Bachelor's in computer science or related field
• Experience with Swift
• Familiarity with modern Frontend Development, Javascript or Typescript, with React Native or React (web) experience strongly preferred
• Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to a mobile app store (App Store or Google Play Store) - preferred
• Knowledgeable in writing automated tests for applications (unit, integration, end-to-end) - preferred
• Familiar with the basic principles and design of React Native Apps, and RESTful APIs - preferred
• Close familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes - preferred
