PayPay is seeking a Senior PMO to lead their PMO team and enhance project management across the organization. The role involves managing project portfolios and driving improvements in project management capabilities to achieve company goals. The company operates with a diverse team of members from approximately 50 countries and regions.

The Senior PMO will collaborate with group companies to drive innovative products, manage over 500 projects, improve efficiency, and foster communication among stakeholders. They will also update the PMO strategy to build a continuously growing and high-performing team. The role requires confirming alignment with the roadmap, evaluating resource allocation, and responding to business changes while ensuring process improvements and quality enhancements.

The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, leadership experience, and industry knowledge. They should also be proficient in project management tools and have excellent language skills.

Role Involves:

  • Driving initiatives to improve project management efficiency.
  • Managing strategically important programs and projects.
  • Formulating and implementing new rules and processes.
  • Managing and supporting quarterly product roadmap planning.
  • Providing regular progress reports to executive management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of PMO or project/portfolio management experience.
  • Experience in managing large-scale and complex projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, PMO-CP, P3O, or equivalent project management/PMO certification.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and JIRA.
  • Business-level English and native-level or JLPT N1 equivalent Japanese language skills.
