PayPay, a fintech company with over 65 million users, seeks a UX Writer to enhance user experience. This role involves creating user-friendly UX copy for the company's app, merchant app, and web tools.

The UX Writer will be supported by a Senior UX Writer and will work with engineers, product managers, and designers to create, proofread, and propose UX copies in Japanese for the company's app, web services UI and guide pages, creating UI text, sentence structure, and proofreading for the company's app, apps for member stores and web tools. They will also be responsible for proofreading designs created in English, creating Japanese copy, and composing sentences.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating various copies, such as microcopies displayed within apps and web tools, push notifications, and sentences used for user communication in emails, etc. based on our tone and manner
  • Complying with writing guidelines and propose the most suitable wording for users, tailored to design and development conditions
  • Conducting research both internally and externally, and create wording based on data.

Requirements:

  • Native-level Japanese skills
  • Either A: 3+ years of English-Japanese translation experience or 2+ years of English-to-Japanese localization experience OR B: UX writing/content writing experience in Japanese
