PayPay, a Fintech company with over 67 million users, is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Financial Business Strategy Division. This division aims to create various financial use cases within the PayPay app, such as saving, investing, lending, and managing money. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving financial services and the ability to identify and solve user problems through UI/UX and service innovation.

The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing credit scoring models and providing decision-making support for the business. The candidate will work with the team of data analysts and scientists.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing credit scoring models for PayPay and its group companies.
  • Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and conducting numerical simulations for the business.
  • Contributing to the development of business plans and KPI design for new businesses.
  • Creating dashboards for monitoring and conducting policy analysis.

Requirements:

  • Experience in analytical work using Python or R.
  • Knowledge and skills to perform basic data operations with SQL.
  • Passion for creating new business opportunities.
  • Communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
