PayPay, a FinTech company with over 65 million users, is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join its team. This role involves constructing and managing the analysis infrastructure for various data analyses related to promoting PayPay service usage. The analyst will work with user data to build marketing data infrastructure and extract data for campaigns and initiatives.

PayPay’s mission is to maximize the PayPay business by defining its core values and delivering them to users (general consumers/member stores) through appropriate methods and media. They are looking for someone to help design and promote the future PayPay data environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote the construction and operation of analysis infrastructure for various data analyses related to promoting PayPay service usage.
  • Build and operate a marketing data infrastructure necessary for implementing campaigns and various measures based on various usage data of PayPay users.
  • Analyze user performance data and build infrastructure.
  • Perform various data analyses and extraction tasks related to campaign implementation and analysis.
  • Build data operation processes within the department.
  • Provide input to strategy and planning departments based on various data analyses.

Requirements:

  • Basic statistical knowledge for analysis and visualization of analysis results.
  • Data extraction using SQL.
  • Business-level Japanese Proficiency(A Japanese resume is required.)

Nice to have:

  • Data infrastructure development or testing experience with an understanding of testing methods.
  • System operation experience using various tools (DB operation, infrastructure operation, application operation, etc., or similar skills).
  • Experience in team-based programming development.
  • Experience developing operation tools using scripting languages.
  • Basic English
