This role involves solution sales to acquire major merchants and increase PayPay usage.
Role involves:
- Acquiring major merchants (national chains, large online service providers) and providing solutions to existing merchants.
- Proposing new solutions, managing implementation, and consulting.
- Planning and executing measures to promote existing merchant usage (sales data analysis, sales promotion tool planning and proposal, sales promotion consulting, etc.).
- Supporting the operation of participating merchants (new business, new service support, inquiries, store opening/closing operations, etc.).
- Expanding O2O services using new PayPay services (coupons and marketing tools).
- Gathering customer needs and collaborating with product and marketing departments.
Requirements:
- BtoB sales experience (advertising sales, sales promotion experience, etc.).
- Experience in solution-based sales to address customer challenges.
- Skills in creating proposals and outputting reports on the effectiveness and estimates of measures.
- Proactive attitude in carrying out missions.
- Communication skills with diverse and multinational teams, both internally and with clients.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables, etc.) are desirable.
- Experience in handling and selling financial products (cards, leases, payment terminals, etc.) is desirable.
- Experience in handling and selling payment-related services (POS, payment agency, etc.) is desirable.
- Leadership experience in project-based mission execution is desirable.
- Business-level English proficiency is desirable.
