Job Description

PayPay, a fintech company with over 69 million users in approximately 6 years since its launch in 2018, is composed of diverse members from about 50 countries and regions. PayPay is looking for a Operation Strategy Planner.

The Operations Promotion Division is in charge of general operations behind the scenes of service provision, such as screening to increase the number of stores that can use PayPay, and monitoring and dealing with fraud that occurs in the flow of money. The department is an organization in charge of functions such as general business planning, and is in charge of a wide range of operations such as:

• Formulation and monitoring of business plans (budget and strategic perspectives)
• Promotion of strategy
• Operations incidental to service provision such as credit screening

Role involves:

• Leading the development of themes/strategies to be addressed to maximize business revenue, including collaboration with group companies under Z Holdings.
• Planning improvements to existing costs and leading the development of investment plans that utilize the resources created.
• Leading the identification of key drivers and their monitoring.
• Promoting themes that cross organizational boundaries, such as BCP development and consideration of new base construction.

Requirements:

• Experience in business planning and budget/actual management
• Experience in numerical analysis and execution of the PDCA cycle
• Experience in creating materials for management and related departments
• PM/PMO experience
