PayPay, a prominent fintech company with over 66 million users, is seeking a Security Management Specialist. This role involves contributing to the security of PayPay's services and infrastructure, ensuring the safety of its users and the company's assets.

The Security Management Specialist will work within the Security Management Department, which is responsible for enhancing the overall security posture of PayPay. The team addresses evolving threats and risks, going beyond simple compliance to provide comprehensive security solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting internal security consulting
  • Performing security risk assessments and asset inventory
  • Developing, evaluating, and improving internal and product security rules
  • Validating and designing security products
  • Promoting information security through rule creation, awareness campaigns, and education
  • Coordinating with internal and external organizations, companies, and groups
  • Creating and monitoring security-related regulations and rules
  • Evaluating the security of personal information entrusted to external parties
  • Handling security risk assessment responses

Requirements:

  • Experience in IT system development or operational management
  • Project management experience in system development or operations
  • Experience implementing security products
  • System consulting experience
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, endpoints, authentication, etc.)
  • Practical experience with public clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure, etc.)
  • Background or strong interest in security
  • Ability to act autonomously with responsibility and a sense of mission in changing situations
  • Ability to logically break down identified issues and lead to problem resolution
  • Business-level Japanese language proficiency (N1)
