PayPay, a prominent fintech company with over 65 million users, is seeking an Internal Control Specialist to join their Internal Control Department. This role involves promoting and evaluating internal controls to align with the company's leading position in the fintech industry. The Internal Control Department operates within a three-tiered management system, offering guidance to the first and second lines of defense to establish optimal internal controls.

The Internal Control Specialist will play a vital role in advising on necessary internal controls and proactively collaborating with various departments to resolve issues. They will also be responsible for delivering timely results in supporting first and second-line departments and evaluating internal controls. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in internal controls and be capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting internal control assessments and providing support.
  • Promoting corrective actions for deficiencies and evaluating their impact on financial figures.
  • Managing Group SOX compliance, including management evaluations and deficiency remediation.
  • Conducting risk assessments related to financial statement impacts for new services and initiatives.
  • Reviewing and advising on internal controls.
  • Handling external audits and collaborating with auditors and relevant departments.
  • Maintaining close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit firms or consulting firms.
  • Experience in financial statement audits.
  • Experience in internal control audits.
  • Experience in providing support for constructing internal controls.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement improvements collaboratively.
