Job Description
PayPay, a leading fintech company with over 69 million users, is seeking an Internal Control Specialist to join its Internal Control Department. This role involves enhancing and evaluating internal controls to meet the standards of a leading fintech company. The Internal Control Department operates within a three-lines-of-defense framework, advising the first and second lines on necessary internal controls and promoting optimal construction.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide accurate advice through internal control evaluations and proactively collaborate with relevant departments to resolve identified issues. They should also be capable of delivering results related to supporting first and second-line departments and conducting internal control evaluations, while adhering to deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting internal control evaluations and providing support to stakeholders in accounting, business, and management departments.
- Promoting corrective actions for deficiencies and evaluating their impact on financial figures.
- Managing group SOX compliance, including management evaluations and deficiency correction.
- Assessing risks and reviewing internal controls for new services and policies, considering their impact on financial statements.
- Coordinating with external auditors and relevant departments.
- Maintaining close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including external auditors and group companies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial statement auditing or internal control auditing at an audit firm or consulting firm.
- Experience in internal control construction support related to company-wide controls, business process controls, and financial statement controls (FSCP).
- Ability to independently identify issues and drive improvements while involving others.
