The BCM Specialist will be part of the Business Continuity Management Department, which includes the System Risk Management Team. The team focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to the stability of cloud-native systems and preparing for emergencies. The ideal candidate will reduce risks and enable the company’s speed and stability.

This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems, gaining deep insights into PayPay's business. It requires a flexible mindset and logical approach to all-hazard preparedness, within a remote work environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and maintaining crisis management regulations and manuals.
  • Considering business continuity measures such as system recovery and alternative operations.
  • Managing the secretariat for crisis response during major natural disasters and large-scale system failures.
  • Planning and conducting training for emergency response.

Requirements:

  • Experience in BCM-related tasks (BCP development, operation construction, execution, etc.).
  • Experience in cross-organizational business promotion and project management.
  • Experience in system planning, development, and operation.
  • Basic understanding of financial terminology and concepts.
  • Business-level Japanese language proficiency (N1 or above).
